These Pizzas Will Make You Want To Eat The Crust First

One might think that the toppings are the most important part of a pizza but the crust is equally important, too. At Firehouse Pizza at the Crimson Hotel in Alabang, the pizza's crunchy-on-the-outside and tender-on-the-inside crust is the star.

Crimson Hotel's latest concept restaurant is a unique pizzeria that uses freshly-baked sourdough for all their pizzas. Yes, All. Of. Their. Pizzas!

The Firehouse is topped with chorizo, prosciutto, meatballs, jalapeƱo, salami, rucola, and chili oil. You can add burrata cheese, too, for an additional P720. If the burrata version of the Firehouse is a little pricey for you, you can also try topping your Firehouse pizza with chili bocconcini (small mozzarella balls) for P670 instead or go for the Scamorza (cow's milk cheese) for P620.

If you're looking for something on the healthier side, Firehouse Pizza's Garden House is topped with a medley of vegetables which include the wild rocket arugula, mushroom, artichokes, zucchini, and olives. This pizza is also meatless which means you can spend meatless Fridays at Firehouse Pizza!

For a well-balanced meal, you should definitely try the Mini Calzone Salad (P400) as your appetizer or side. This salad is made with crispy baby spinach tossed in pesto, then topped with semi-sweet onion rings, peanuts, dried chili, and shards of Parmesan cheese that adds complex flavors and textures to each bite. We definitely consider this salad as a wild card for a pizzeria because this salad was the first one to disappear from our table.

Firehouse Pizza is located at Crimson Hotel, Civic Drive, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. For more information, follow Firehouse on Facebook.
